No.  I don't think it is a good idea to use it.

All I was doing was putting Borda in a hierarchy structure that showed how 
"similar" one method was to another.  What I basically implied in the post 
was that Borda is as "close" as you can get to Cardinal Ratings without 
actually being Cardinal Ratings.

I suppose this question in a way sums up what my post was saying/asking.  
For each method, how is proportional being interpreted?
