FU should have a proportional representation method for the Student Senate.

Pending that, I suggest that the voters vote (a) YES/NO on each candidate and
and (b) 1, 2, etc. for each candidate.

If no candidate gets a YES majority, then there is a vacancy.
If 1 candidate gets a YES majority, then he/she is elected.
If 2 or more candidates get YES majorities, then the number votes are used.
If a candidate is not voted for using the number votes, then he/she is in last
place.
If 1 candidate beats each other candidate using the number votes, then he/she
wins.
If each candidate beats at least one other candidate, then the number of votes
in the 1st, 2nd, etc. places are used as a tiebreaker.
Example-
          Place votes
       1 2 3
A A1 A2 A3
B B1 B2 B3
C C1 C2 C3
Subtract the 2nd half votes from the 1st half votes (if an even number of
places).
Subtract the 2nd half votes from the 1st half votes and add the votes in the
middle place (if an odd number of places).

In the example-
A1-A3+A2
B1-B3+B2
C1-C3+C2
The highest total wins.
