[EM] Successful third parties

You're changing the subject.  And I grew up in the Twin Cities, was 
educated in the Twin Cities, and still live here in Minneapolis.

The Farmer-Labor Party was its own for several decades in Minnesota.  
They were so successful they scared the Democrats, who subverted them 
into merging: D + FL = DFL, what Minnesota's Democratic Party now is, 
with few if any vestiges of the FL.

Please -- give me some credit for knowing my local history.  And for 
being able to count:  Eight Governors, four US Senators, and eight US 
House members is a few more than one Bernie, if he'd even let you count 
him as VPP.

But unlike what's going on in the other threads, I'm not trying to get 
into a prolonged pissing contest with you.  I stated a fact, with a 
supporting link.  If the VPP has more high-level electeds, please let me 
know and I'll correct what I wrote.

And please don't split hairs over VPP is now and FL was then. Wilt 
Chamberlain is dead almost 25 years, but that doesn't change all the NBA 
records he set and still holds.
