Scott--
As near as I can guess, you're joking. That's fine, but, for a joke, haven't
you put an unreasonable amount of work into that long posting?
Also, even a joke should be said so that it will be understood. It isn't
clear what your Insanity method count rule is.
Because of that, it's difficult to comment on your claim that it meets FBC.
But other things that you said in the posting seem to contradict your claim
that it meets FBC. Yes, it's true that a joke doesn't warrant this much
discussion.
Saying that failing the Strategy Free Criterion is ok because voting should
involve strategy--that's one we don't often hear on EM. If you want methods
to have strategy, then you shouldn't worry, because it's been shown that all
nonprobabilistic methods have strategy.
I suggest that it's better if voters don't have strategic need to bury ther
favorite. And I further suggest that, when it can be guaranteed, it's good
when a voter doesn't have to do other than rank sincerely. Of course you
don't have to agree with that.
I don't usually comment on jokes, but I just wanted to make a few comments
this time.
