Some people favor that approach, but then you have a different election
method, not approval voting or cardinal ratings.  Since the "none of the
above rule" wasn't being used in the simulation, voting for 'all of the
above' or 'none of the above' only makes sense if you have absolutely no
preference between the candidates.
