When I said that I don't propose ERIRV, that wasn't entirely correct, 
because, as the subject line says, I propose ERIRV to IRVists, as an IRV 
mitigation compromise.

Of course IRVists have never accepted mitigation compromises, and seem 
determined to bestow all of IRV's faults on the voting public, with 
unmitigated IRV.

Still, it's worth offering to them, as I did in a fairly recent posting 
here. In that posting I offered several IRV mitigation compromises, 
including ERIRVf(fractional).

IRVists don't _object_ to ERIRV(fractional), but they refuse to make it 
their IRV proposal, and so the end result is the same: unmitigated IRV.
