Very good, James. Probably most or all of us use such diagrams. It's called 
a directed graph. With the magnitude numbers, it's called a tournament.

Those graphs are great for counting elections among reasonably few 
candidates, but tbey aren't to be recommended for explaining SSD to people 
unfamiliar with voting systems, because, with all their arrows & numbers, 
they're much more compliated than necessary. Stick with the dots and 
ellipses.

I'm sorry but the; meaning of that isn't entirely clear. If I could make a 
suggestion, you might not want to partake of recreational substances when 
posting to EM.

But of course there might be some who know just what you mean, and I 
wouldn't want to discourage you from tailoring your explanation to your 
audience.

Another advantage of such an example is that it answers the question, when 
it's asked, about how RP & BeatpathWinner can give different results. Again, 
though, that too isn't to be recommended for introducing Condorcet to 
someone unfamililar with voting system.
