I've criticized others in the past for spamming the list with these sorts
of debates, so I promise this will be the last post on this topic for me.

>I believe that Gore would have bungled everything just as badly as Bush

>of the fundamentalist Christian anti-Christ ... the devil can dress more
>than one wolf in sheep's clothing.

Do you think Gore would have -

1) Pursued the opening of the ANWR as the centerpiece of his energy policy?
2) Pushed through a "perscription drug package" that is really more about
the privatization of Medicare?
3) Passed the massive tax cut that runs counter to Demorcatic party
principles?
4) Drafted the Patriot act?
5) Issued the executive order to fund Christian groups?
6) Handed sweetheart deals in Iraq to Haliburton (or even invaded Iraq)?

I don't pretend to know you oppose all these things (I only oppose most of
them), but they all run counter to the progressive liberal grain, and it's
very hard to imagine Gore pushing them.
