It is to avoid this confusion that Fairshare now always refers to "STV-PR" when we mean STV for
multi-seat elections.  Because STV can be used in single-seat elections (= IRV in USA, =
"Alternative Vote" in UK), we are very keen to emphasise the PR part.  We don't want IRV to elect
our local government councils, but some of our opponents do, so they try to muddy the "STV" waters.
