And take the chance of seeing your fifth choice winning when you could
have ensured your second choice...

Donald, your strategy of all or nothing would be yours. Voters are not sheeps
following parties guidelines. I do think IRV is superior to Approval.
However, you do not defend well your case...
My preferences for single-winner methods:
FPTP < CR < Borda < Approval < IRV < Condorcet
I can justify any "<" on demand.
