No no, Approval Voting in not the obvious answer.

Being easier to explain and cheaper does not make Approval the obvious answer.

Approval Voting should never be used in any election in which the `winner
to be' is important to most of the voters.

Approval Voting should be used in any election in which the `winner to be'
is not important to most of the voters.

A beauty contest is a good example of a election that should use Approval
Voting.

All the ladies look nice and will work for world peace if elected.

Who cares?

Dosen't really matter to most which one wins.
