The 2000 U.S.A. President Electoral College gerrymander math is linked on

The Votes/Electoral Votes ratios for the 50 States and D.C. vary quite a bit 
(since each AREA gets 2 Electoral Votes regardless of how many VOTERS are in 
such areas).

ANTI- Democracy machination result ----

*26.36* percent of the Nov 2000 voters for U.S.A. President de facto elected 
the President and Vice-President (271 of 538 Electoral College votes in 30 
States).

If Mr. Gore had won Florida, then the minority rule percentage would have 
been about the same (21 States plus D.C. for Gore).

Obvious Democracy Remedy- 

1. Send the U.S.A. President Electoral College to the political junkyard of 
history to rot with divine right of kings and slavery.

2. Nonpartisan nomination and election of ALL elective executive and judicial 
officers by one (or more) of the methods mentioned on this list for such 
offices.

3. To further reduce the ultra-dangerous monarchial vestiges in the office of 
the U.S.A. President --- abolish the President veto, have ALL U.S.A. judges 
be elected, have more U.S.A. executive officers be elected ---- U.S.A. 
Attorney General, Secretary of State, District Attorneys, U.S.A. Marshalls.

NONE of the 50 States in the Union elects a Governor ONLY in the State's 
executive branch (for very obvious reasons of public safety against possible 
corrupt/ tyrannical Governors).

Anybody recall the machinations of Mr. Nixon (in the infamous Watergate 
Affair) or Mr. Clinton (in the infamous Lewinsky Affair) ???

The last 3 elections (1992, 1996, 2000) for U.S.A. President have produced 
MINORITY RULE Presidents (based on the *popular* votes by the VOTERS).
