Brief preliminary reply:

It isn't true that the current voting system for candidates has
a y/n majority respecting nature that we'd have to duplicate
when we replace Plurality. Plurality ignores the y/n question.
So we could replace Plurality without adding y/n, and no one
could say that y/n voting had been taken away from them.

Also, referring to truncation strategy games, Condorcet doesn't
have truncation as an offensive strategy. So if you're saying
that we don't want a pairwise-count method that's vulnerable
to truncation, I agree. But Condorcet isn't vulnerable to
truncation. But I hope you'll let people know that the other
pairwise-count methods are seriously vulnerable to truncation.
