Dear Steve Eppley,
You must be living in a Dream World.
Your Candidate Withdrawal is a method the can be corrupted.
Candidate A has reason to bribe candidate B.
Candidate B has reason to bribe candidate A.
Candidate C has reason to bribe candidate B
All that is needed is for two of these candidates, or their
supporters, to be willing to be corrupt and we end up with corruption.
Once again, Steve, "you fall short".
Instead of calling other people names and saying they "almost never
write anything of value", you would do well to spend your time and effort
trying to write something of value yourself.
In three years the only thing of value that you have written is your
IDEAL CONSENSES letter. Your idea on reforming the US Senate could have
also been of value, but you never finished that project. I suspect because
you insisted on using Condorcet as part of the project, and the project
just would not work with Condorcet. (It was I that made the project work
using IRV.)
I also suspect you received your current position in life as a result
of the "Dumbing Down" of education in America.
If and when you again write something of value, I and most list member
will give you credit for it. In the meantime stop trying to remove persons
from the lists - it does you more harm than them.

Any group of reform activists that are thinking about a petition drive
to place a proposal on the ballot are to present their proposal beforehand
to all other reform activists that they know of. The time for debate and
negative comments is before the petition stage. Once the group makes its
final proposal and enters the petition stage, the debates and negative
comments by all reform activists is to cease.
At this time each activist is to make an honest evaluation. If the
initiative will improve government then each activist is to find it in his
heart to support the initiative, even if it is not exactly what the
activist would like.
