D-The last 3 elections (1988, 1992, 1996) for U.S. President have been
progressively more and more vicious with massive so-called negative attack
advertisements on TV (the basic source of information for about 90 percent of
the generally ignorant U.S. voters).
The whole election system in the U.S. is almost at the primitive personality
level of the last days of the Roman Republic (with its various civil wars
between the personality factions). Discussion of the consequences of various
laws (or unenacted laws) is nonexistant due to the various braindead
gerrymanders for electing the U.S. Congress and each state legislature.
