5 Candidates, A, B and C are similar; D and E are similar
Condorcet math
26 A,C
23 B,C
2 C
25 D
24 E,A

note- first choices: A+B+C= 51, D+E= 49
A 50 B 23
A 50 C 25*
A 50 D 25
E 49 A 26*
C 28 B 23
D 25 B 23
E 49 B 23
C 51 D 25*
C 51 E 49*
D 25 E 24

A>C>D>E>A circular tie (due mainly to E second choices for A)
* Worst defeats
A 49 against
B loses to each
C 50 against
D 51 against
E 51 against
Should A win (who had lowest votes against in all of the worst defeats) or
should C win (wgi got the most votes in any pairing) ?
I say C should win. This is another example where a majority group is
divided.
