That helps explain why you seem so incapable of even
recognizing, much less avoiding, the insulting and paternalistic
tone that is so typical of your responses to people you disagree
with. It's ironic that despite your enthusiasm for consensus
decisionmaking, you routinely engage in forms of verbal
behavior that have the effect of discouraging mutually
respectful dialogue, without which consensus is all but
impossible to achieve
