Elimination election paradox.

A candidate cannot (legitimately) be elected by the elimination of other
candidates.

The ancient Greek prejudice believed a tyranny is democracy. But a power
monopoly stupefies, as well as corrupts, without discussion among equals.

With the Hare system, as in Cambridge, the elimination count becomes
less important, the more proportional the election. And it is possible
for a reformed Hare system, to do away altogethe with narrowing down
electoral choice by eliminations.

Richard Lung.
