Only MAM and some methods so extremely similar to MAM that they select the
same order of finish as MAM in the typical case where no two majorities
are the same size and no pairing is a tie.  They need to be consistent
with "Largest Majority First" (LMF), which implies a very small family of
voting methods.

In the message I posted a little while ago, there's more info about this
question and about LMF, and a bit about the analogous question regarding
WIMC.  In that message I also argue that LMF is the voting method actually
advocated by Condorcet.
