btw, i did like this video from Tony Gierzynski

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=img9y2AYTQA

where it seems that the moral of the story is that, not being
Condorcet, the IRV failed in Burlington in 2009.

the anti-IRVers removed the page (and it's cached at google), but the
rest of Tony Gierzynski's youtube videos can be seen here:

q=cache:zXxMmohkC3kJ:repealirv.blogspot.com/2010/01/anti-irv-for-
duhmies.html+repeal+IRV+blog&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

but only the first example uses real election results (specifically
Burlington's 2009). the other examples of pathologies are from
cooked up election examples. they might still point out legit
pathologies, but i am dubious of the frequency that real world
elections would match these pathological examples. and i still do
not see a pathology associated with Condorcet.
