[EM] Beatpath Criterion

I'd better look up the original definition of Steve's Beatpath Criterion in 
the archives. Till I do, I can't guarantee any statement that I've made 
about its definition.

The BC definition that's been quoted recently sounds like what I call SBC.

It doesn't matter which BC definition is correct, but I'll look it up.
