[EM] Math Question

OK, I'm holding an election, where everyone in my company gets to vote on
what country they want the next branch office in.

I am planning to use ranked ballots, and will first look for a condorcet
winner.

This is a Highlander election (there can be only one :op)

There are 200 countries.

If I limit everyone to 1 vote (top ranked country only)...
versus if I let them rank 2...
versus 5...

Is there a mathematical way to define how much inaccuracy is introduced if I
have Y contenders in a single-seat election and truncate all voter ranking
at X? (where X < (Y-1))

I really am interested.

Thanks, all.
