There are at least two kinds of rules: (1) the rules for filling out the
ballot, and (2) the rules for determining the election winner from the
completed ballot set.
Most of the discussion in this thread has centered around (1).
Adoption of a Condorcet method would require the voters to think about (2)
also.
That's one arena in which Approval and its near cousins have the clearest
advantage.
The other such arena is cost of conversion.
