Condorcet same as Approval with partial info?

Which choices have a simple YES/NO majority approval/acceptability ?? 

(which also affects Mr. Ossipoff's comments in his --the anti-middle strategy 
examples with Condorcet (I think).

An example of the pre-election poll-strategy game just happened in the 
presidential primary in Michigan.   The pre-election polls claimed a dead 
heat between Bush and McCain.   McCain apparently won the primary election 
using simple plurality voting. Thus ???
