Blake's Conceit

The problem with netcom's mailer is making it difficult
to make the final reply by editing a copy of Blake's letter,
but I'd like to comment briefly here.

Blake said that what VA does is dishonest & confused. But
count methods don't have those human attributes. It's typical,
however, for people who are all confused about voting systems
and standards to believe that anything based on a standard
other than theirs must be incorrect or  based on some
logical flaw or confusion. Twits with that conceit are
commonly encountered in voting system discussion.
