32 Liberal
35 Centrist
33 Conservative

Runoff/IRO:  Liberal loses, votes shift to centrist; centrist wins.

Example 2:

A second centrist enters the race and splits the vote

32 Liberal
23 Centrist
12 Centrist2
33 Conservative

Runoff:  Both centrists lose, either liberal or conservative wins.
IRO:  Centrist wins.
