Maybe you weren't in the best mood that day. I always avoid
critically replying to a new participant. Some of your replies
that day were gratuitously hostile.

But to answer your question: Why have representative democracy?

Good question. We don't need it. Direct Democracy is better.

But not voting for unprincipled candidates doesn't imply
opposition to representative democracy, if one votes for
principled candidates, and has any such candidates to vote 
for.
