Condorcet has an biographical article in the New Encyclopedia Britannica,
vol. 3, 15th Edition, 1995 for those interested. [However, it does not
discuss his single winner method].

His single winner method is in his Essai sur l'application de l'analyse a la
probabilite des decisions rendues a la pluralitie dex voix [Essay on the
Application of Analysis to the Probability of Majority Decisions] (1785).

A revised edition appeared in 1805 under the title-
Elements du calcul des probabilities et son application aux jeux de hasard, a
la loterie et aux jugements des hommes.

La mathematique sociale de marquis de Condorcet by Gilles- Gaston Granger
(1956) contains a bibilography of Condorcet's mathematical works.
