I have a question for Stephane Rouillon:
What is the number of papers in this election example?:
+1 (A)
+0 (AB)
-0 (BA)
-1 (B)
+6 ()
The Forest geometry would proceed by adding the votes for the (A) and (AB)
papers to produce a single number. Presumably FPTP-ized geometry of
Mr F Simmons malfunctions with a run-time error when the FPTP "favorite"
of the empty ballot paper is calculated.
That paper with an empty preference list seems to correspond to a
spooled ballot paper.
I certainly would expect that the best answer to that question
is the number two.
