Instant Run-off fails at 5 voters.
Example-
2 AM
1 MB
2 BM
With IRO, M is dropped so that B wins, 3 to 2.
However, if M is paired against A or B, then M beats A, 3 to 2 and M beats B,
3 to 2.
Thus, there can be a compromise candidate (such as M) who beats each other
candidate in all of his/her head to head pairings.
Can IRO fans comprehend such compromise candidate possibility ?
The above 5 voter example could just as well be 100 million voters--
20 million AM
10 million MB
20 million BM
