Dear DEMOREP1,

Thank you for posting the list of Presidential candidates and their votes.
What is interesting to me is that these election results would only need
one run-off to produce a winner with a majority(in the popular vote). It is
acceptable to drop the long string of twenty candidates because the sum of
all the votes that the twenty received is less than the votes of the one
candidate ahead of the string. All this nation needs to do is allow the
voters two selections and we would have our one run-off.

This subject brings up a request: Do you have and would you give me the
same information on the New Hampshire primary? I would like to get the same
information that you have given here on the Presidential election -
candidate name - party - votes. A radio report at the time said that there
were fifty-five candidates in that primary.

I want to calculate how many run-offs would be needed in that election -
both by party and all candidates together.

Thank you,

reach their pages?

Signed: Donald
